Oatmeal Stout

This imperial stout is brewed with heavy amounts of flaked oats for a thick, smooth mouthfeel. Aged for 20 months in Four Roses bourbon barrels adds layers of vanilla and warming spice flavor to the smooth chocolatey base. In Rugby tradition, "Old Boys" are players who no longer play competitively, but like many of the finer things in life, get better with age. The Old Boys Barrel-Aged series will feature our favorite young beer styles that will be transferred into wood barrels, set aside, and left to mature, resulting in a well-balanced, complex beer.
